Unitree R1 basis | Humanoïde robot
Varianten: Blue
Hoogtepunten

Unitree R1 - Mobile Humanoid Platform with 26 Degrees of Freedom
The Unitree R1 Base features 26 degrees of freedom (DOF), providing the foundation for realistic humanoid motion and movement patterns. Its design combines a compact form factor of approximately 1.2 meters in height with a weight of around 25 kilograms. This makes the platform relatively easy to transport, deploy at events, or integrate into laboratory environments. With a maximum walking speed of up to 2.5 m/s, or approximately 9 km/h, the robot can perform dynamic movements and demonstrate a wide range of human-robot interaction scenarios. For universities, research institutions, and technology laboratories, the Unitree R1 Base offers a versatile platform for investigating motion planning, autonomous navigation, and interaction concepts using a humanoid robotic system.

Integrated Sensors for Perception and Interaction
To perceive and interact with its surroundings, the Unitree R1 Base is equipped with an integrated stereo camera system, microphones, and speakers. The stereo camera enables spatial perception of objects and environments, while the microphones capture acoustic signals for interaction and research purposes. The built-in speakers can be used for status notifications and interactive communication scenarios. Joint encoders complement the sensor suite by continuously monitoring the position and movement of individual axes. Together, these components provide a solid sensing foundation for demonstrations, research projects, and educational applications. Areas such as human-robot interaction, perception research, and embodied AI can benefit from the available sensors to analyze real robotic systems and evaluate various interaction concepts.

Fast Commissioning and Modern Connectivity
The Unitree R1 Base is designed for rapid deployment and requires only a few steps to get started. After inserting the battery, users simply power on the system, connect via WiFi or Bluetooth, and pair the included controller. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 provide modern wireless connectivity and support current communication standards. An integrated high-performance 8-core processor handles internal processing tasks, while support for over-the-air (OTA) updates allows new software versions to be deployed without complex manual procedures. This streamlined approach simplifies operation in research labs, educational institutions, and demonstration environments where systems need to be regularly updated and quickly made available for use.

Designed Specifically for Research and Education
The Unitree R1 Base is specifically targeted at universities, research institutions, robotics laboratories, and technology centers seeking an affordable entry into humanoid robotics. The platform is well suited for demonstrations, academic courses, research projects, and applications related to artificial intelligence and human-robot interaction. At the same time, its positioning makes it clear that the focus is not on traditional industrial automation tasks such as palletizing, machine tending, or heavy-duty material handling. With an arm payload of approximately 2 kilograms and a battery runtime of around one hour, the robot primarily serves as a research and demonstration platform. This provides users with a system purpose-built for learning, development, testing, and evaluation, offering a practical introduction to humanoid robotics.
