De i4L SCARA-robots van Omron, verkrijgbaar in de modellen L350, L450 en L550, hebben een reikwijdte van 350 tot 550 mm en een draagvermogen tot 5 kg. Met een herhaalbaarheid van ±0,01 mm en cyclustijden vanaf 0,38 seconden zijn ze ideaal voor snelle, uiterst nauwkeurige toepassingen. Dankzij hun compacte ontwerp met geïntegreerde controller kunnen ze ruimtebesparend op een tafel of aan de muur worden gemonteerd.
De programmering gebeurt via de intuïtieve ACE-software of Sysmac Studio. Dankzij de open architectuur (eV+-taal) en ingebouwde interfaces zoals EtherCAT, RS-232C en digitale I/O's kunnen de robots eenvoudig worden geïntegreerd in bestaande automatiseringssystemen. Een meerkleurig RGB-koepellampje geeft een visuele statusindicatie en ondersteunt preventief onderhoud.
Typische toepassingen zijn onder meer pick & place, assemblage, verpakking en materiaalbehandeling. De i4L-serie is bijzonder geschikt voor digitale productieomgevingen die snelheid, precisie en eenvoudige integratie vereisen.

The i4L enables easy integration with a compact design and small footprint. Installation is extremely simple, as the robot can be mounted on a horizontal (table mounting) or vertical surface (wall mounting) without the need for additional adapters or brackets. Cable connections can be arranged so that they exit either through or parallel to the mounting surface.
